Belcan Workforce Solutions is currently looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to work for one of our clients based in Aberdeen, Scotland, UK.

You will require 'Right to Work' in UK, unfortunately no sponsorship will be available for this role.

We have extensive experience in offshore and onshore facilities; specialising in asset management services throughout all life cycle phases from consulting, engineering, manufacturing, assembly, operations, maintenance, and decommissioning.

The Financial Reporting Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate, timely reporting for management and meeting strict deadlines throughout the financial year. The role is primarily responsible for the legal entity and consolidated statutory reporting of Bilfinger's UK Regions entities located in the UK and Denmark.

Main Responsibilities

  • Complex Statutory and Consolidated Accounts: Manage the delivery of complex statutory and consolidated accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Process and Systems Reviews: Undertake reviews to enhance reporting efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Collaboration: Liaise with auditors, professionals, and internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain strong relationships.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements (UK GAAP, IFRS) and maintain a deep understanding of consolidated accounts and disclosures.

Requirements for the role of Financial Reporting Manager

  • Qualifications: An Accounting degree and professional accounting qualification (i.e. CIMA/ACCA/ACA)
  • Technical skills: Current knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Team work: Ability to work using own initiative and to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Leadership: Desire to lead, motivate, and develop a small team of finance staff, who will be key in meeting all objectives
