An excellent opportunity for an experienced HSE Senior Advisor / Lead HSE Advisor has arisen onsite with one of our clients, a world leader within many key industries. This role is placed within Nuclear, Oil & Gas or other heavily regulated industry or Construction industry experience.
What will you do in this position?
- The focus of this role is to lead the onsite HSE team, ensuring safety, compliance and continuous improvement for all activities.
- In this position you will be responsible for Providing Leadership, coaching and strategic guidance to the HSE team.
- Provide support and guidance to project managers on all matters relating to HSE.
- Ensure all work activities are carried out in a compliance with company and site safety procedures, maintaining the highest standards of health & safety at all times.
- Maintaining and promoting a Safety First culture, delivering TBT's and safety related training as required.
- Tracking and reporting of HSE in line with regional requirements
- Highlight concerns and areas for improvement, developing initiatives to drive continuous improvement on the project.
- Planning & conducting HSE Audits, ensuring timely closeout of any actions.
- Promoting safe card submission within the team, monitoring all cards submitted and following up actions with the relevant managers.
- Ensure excellent communication with project management, client wider region and client HSE representatives.
Experience & Qualifications
- NEBOSH & IOSH Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years in a Senior HSE role
- Construction industry experience
- Experience in Nuclear, Oil & Gas or other heavily regulated industry
- Must be able to obtain Security Clearance
